Trophy Fishing Charters offers an expert captain and crew, as well as everything you need to catch sharks, tuna, white seabass, halibut, dorado, yellowtail and rockfish. We provide the tackle, bait, safety equipment, fuel, food and drinks, and in the case of shark charters, add chum and a fighting harness to the list. But if you would prefer to bring your own gear, such as a favorite yellowtail stick or your own fighting harness, by all means, bring it.
You will be fishing with a licensed, Coast Guard-certified captain and a very knowledgeable, experienced and accomplished first mate aboard Strike Zone, a 29-foot Pro-line Super Sport center-console offshore fishing boat. We offer three-quarter-day and full-day charters, both nearshore and offshore. We also offer our clients release mounts and official catch-and-release certificates for trophy-size mako sharks.
Don’t have a fishing license? We can provide one for you, but we ask that you give us one week’s notice if you need us to do so. In California, everyone on a fishing vessel that is engaged in fishing — even if he/she doesn’t handle the rod — is required to have a valid fishing license in his/her possession, so please don’t show up at the dock without one. Fishing licenses are not available at all marinas.
Expect lots of action and lots of fish. Once you’ve got your limit of one species, it’s time to switch gears and target another. If you’ve paid for a three-quarter or full-day of fishing, we promise you’ll get what you paid for.
We will find the fish and gaff or net the fish for you, and the rest is up to you. At the end of the day, we will clean your catch and send you home with nice, clean fillets in zip-lock containers.
